HumanLight - Celebrating humanity, reason and hope

Freethought Society of Greater Philadelphia monthly meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm, and are free and open to the public. Please join us!

Upcoming Events

On January 15th, 2008, The Freethought Society of Greater Philadelphia
(FSGP) and the Philadelphia Association for Critical Thinking (PhACT) will
host Dr. Michael Shermer as he speaks about his latest book, "The Mind of
the Market."

The presentation starts at 7:30 PM at the Philadelphia Ethical Society
Building located at 1906 South Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia, PA. 19106.

Shermer will discuss "Compassionate Apes," "Competitive Humans," and "Other Lessons from Evolutionary Economics."

There will be a book signing after the presentation.

This lecture is free and open to the public.

Shermer's books will be available for purchase at the event. The books will
